Who we are. destiu, LLC is an Arizona limited liability company. These terms govern your use of destiu.com, compass.destiu.com, the destiu app, and the products we sell. Questions: hello@destiu.com.
What we sell. destiu offers digital editorial products: the Compass (an assessment you can begin without an account), paid results and journey content, and Journey Guides, delivered as PDF files by email. Guides are offered in a standard edition and in a numbered signature edition limited to one hundred copies per journey. The Letter is our free email publication.
Payment. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Prices shown do not include applicable taxes. Where we are required to collect sales, use, or similar taxes on digital products, the tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing address. Prices may change, but a change never affects a purchase you have already made.
Delivery and access. Your Guide is delivered by email to the address you provide at checkout, as a PDF attachment. Keep the file; it is yours. If you create a destiu account using the same email address, your purchases also attach to your account. Using a different email address may mean we cannot connect a purchase to your account; write to hello@destiu.com and we will help.
Your copy. Your downloaded Guide is yours to keep, read, and print for personal use. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read, keep, and print your Guide for your own use. All other rights are reserved. The words, design, and images remain the property of destiu, LLC and its licensors. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit a Guide or any part of it. You may not use a Guide or any destiu content, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, test, or develop any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model or system, or permit anyone else to do so. We will never alter, recall, or disable a file we have delivered to you.
Numbered signature editions. Signature editions are limited to one hundred numbered copies per journey. Numbers are issued in order of purchase and printed on the title page. If a signature purchase is refunded, that number is permanently retired: it is never resold and never reissued, and the number of copies available never increases.
Refunds. Refunds are granted at our discretion. To request one, write to hello@destiu.com and tell us what went wrong; we read every message. If a refund is granted: your access to the Guide within the app ends, a signature edition number retires permanently as described above, and any file already delivered to you remains yours; we do not and cannot recall it. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
Editorial content; travel is yours. Guides and all destiu content are editorial. They are recommendations and perspective, not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Hours, prices, menus, closures, and conditions change; verify what matters before you go. destiu is not a travel agency and does not book travel, lodging, dining, or activities on your behalf. Your travel decisions, and your safety while traveling, are your own responsibility.
Third parties. Businesses, venues, and services named in a Guide are independent third parties. We do not control them, and we make no promises about their operations, safety, quality, or availability. Anything you book, buy, or do with a third party is between you and them.
Assumption of risk; disclaimers; limitation of liability. Travel carries inherent risks. By purchasing or using a Guide, you acknowledge that you travel at your own risk and rely on your own judgment. All destiu products are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, destiu, LLC and its members, officers, and agents are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from or related to your use of any destiu product, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, and total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Accounts. You must be at least 18 to purchase. Provide an accurate email address; it is how we deliver what you buy. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.
The Letter. The Letter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue.
Disputes. Any dispute arising from these terms or any destiu product will be resolved by binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, administered under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. You and destiu each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by writing to hello@destiu.com within 30 days of your first purchase.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
Changes. We may update these terms; the current version always lives at destiu.com/terms. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.

How destiu is made
Every word here passed a human ear before it reached yours. That is the whole method, and the rest of this page is what it means in practice.
We draft with AI; the judgment is ours. Drafts pass through human law before they reach you: ratified word by word, checked against the codex, cleared by an editor’s ear. What the tool makes possible is an editorial brand this considered at this size. What it never gets is the final say.
So the AI drafts, and it drafts well. It also does what no small editorial house could do alone: it holds every ruling ever made, in every line, at once. That is why a brand this considered can exist at this size. We use it the way a workshop uses good tools, openly and on purpose.
And some things never happen. The AI has no persona and never pretends to be a person. What it learns about you, it learns to write to you, never to sell you. And nothing you read here shipped unread: a human cleared every member-facing line, including these.
The laws are the brand. The ear is the editor’s. The words are for you.
